Name Tag Project Hits a new milestone (No pun intended!)

I wrote earlier about the Name Tag Project.  The latest milestone was getting permission from the Red Sox to distribute 10,000 name tags to fans attending the July 15th Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays, courtesy of 150 corporate and community volunteers and 50 police volunteers.  And they engaged 20,000 fans in conversations about awareness of the importance of introducing themselves to others in their communities. It sounds like they had a fun time; you can read some of the comments of those who handed out the name tags here.  They may be giving new meaning to doing “the wave” at sporting events.
